Installing Kali Linux PC
The installation process of Kali Linux PC is quite straightforward. You will need to follow a few simple steps to get started. The installation wizard will ask you for your hostname and domain name, password, and time zone. You will also be prompted to choose a disc partitioning method. You can choose between Guided - Use Entire Disk and Manual partitioning approach. After you have chosen a partitioning method, the installer will begin the installation process.
You should choose a computer with adequate hardware and software specifications. While Kali Linux is capable of running on low-end computers, you may still need a robust computer to run it smoothly. Although the developers of Kali do not provide official specs, they do list minimum system requirements. For example, you will need a CPU with at least 1 GHz. Moreover, you should consider sacrificing a desktop environment. Instead, you will use a terminal or SSH.
Once you've selected a suitable PC, you need to connect it to WiFi networks. Wireless adapters come in two types: internal and external. If you choose the latter, you will need a USB-C adapter. Internal WiFi adapters require additional cables, while USB-C ones can be plugged into any USB port. A good wireless adapter will be a must-have for Kali Linux PC. If you can't find a wireless adapter, consider purchasing a Raspberry Pi.
